Men’s check-up – preventive healthcare for men over 35
The men’s check-up is a targeted preventive examination for men aged 35 and over with a focus on typical male health risks.
It provides a compact, medically sound assessment of the cardiovascular system, metabolism, hormones and prostate – precise, understandable and in one appointment.
Thanks to our own practice laboratory, all relevant results are already available during the final medical consultation and are immediately classified. This means you quickly receive clarity and specific recommendations for your further preventive healthcare.
Who is the men’s check suitable for?
The men’s check is particularly useful for you if one or more of the following points apply to you:

Men’s check: This is how the check works
The men’s check is structured and focuses specifically on typical health risks for men – in particular the cardiovascular system, metabolism, hormones and prostate.
The men’s check-up takes approx. 45 – 60 minutes. All examinations and the final medical consultation take place in one appointment.
Step 1: Laboratory analysis in your own practice laboratory
The men’s check-up begins with a blood sample and a urine sample. Key laboratory values that are particularly relevant for typical male risks are examined – including metabolism, heart health, hormone status and prostate.
Among other things, the following are being investigated:
The analysis is carried out in the practice’s own laboratory, so that all results are already available in full during the subsequent consultation with the doctor.
Your benefit
You will receive a quick, clear overview of your most important areas of health as a man – in particular metabolism, heart, hormones and prostate. Typical risks can be identified at an early stage and medically assessed without having to wait or make a second appointment.
Step 2: Basic cardiovascular and circulatory check
In the next step, basic cardiovascular parameters are recorded under resting conditions. These examinations provide an important overview of circulatory stress and vascular health.
To be carried out:
Your benefit
Early indications of cardiovascular stress, circulatory disorders or an increased risk of arteriosclerosis. The results help to realistically assess personal cardiovascular risks – even without existing symptoms.
Step 3: Ultrasound of the abdomen incl. prostate assessment
As part of the ultrasound examination, central internal organs are assessed gently and without radiation. The prostate is also assessed via the abdominal wall for orientation purposes.
Among other things, the following are being investigated:
Your benefit
Early detection of organic changes or abnormalities, especially in conjunction with laboratory values such as PSA. Ultrasound is a useful addition to laboratory and cardiac diagnostics and provides additional safety in screening.
Step 4: Final medical consultation & discussion of findings
Together, possible abnormalities are classified and specific recommendations for further action are given – from preventive care and lifestyle recommendations to further diagnostics, if necessary.
Your benefit
You leave the appointment with a clear, medical assessment of your health as a man – without unanswered questions, without waiting times and with concrete guidance for the next steps.
Please note: The check-ups offered are individual health services (IGeL), which are billed in accordance with the scale of fees for doctors (GOÄ). The costs are generally not covered by statutory health insurance companies.
