Travel vaccinations offer a Reliable protection against infectious diseases on holiday. Depending on the destination, period and activities, different vaccinations may be recommended or even mandatory. It is therefore advisable to find out about the relevant recommendations well in advance of your planned trip and to make an appointment for a vaccination consultation. As part of our professional travel immunisation advice we will check your current vaccination status, carry out any necessary boosters and draw up a personalised vaccination plan based on your destination.

Ideally, the consultation appointment should already four to six weeks before departure take place. Please remember to bring your vaccination card with you.

As travel medical vaccination consultations are not covered by health insurance, patients are responsible for the costs themselves. We estimate an amount of around 40 euros per travel medical consultation and vaccination for one person. Each additional consultation with vaccination costs around 11 euros. The cost of the vaccines must be paid at the pharmacy.  

However, many travel-specific vaccinations are partially or fully covered by statutory health insurance. It is best to enquire about this with your health insurance provider in advance and then submit the prescription with the pharmacy invoice if necessary.
