The Gesund.de APP
Digital communication with our practice should be as simple, secure and convenient as possible for you. With the free gesund.de app, we offer you a modern solution to deal with many issues quickly and easily – directly from home or on the move.
We are happy to support you in setting up and using the app.
This is what the gesund.de app can do for you:
- Request prescriptions conveniently – without any queue
- Simply book appointments online
- View your medication plan digitally at any time
- Receive important documents (e.g. lab results, findings) securely
- Communicate with us directly and securely
- Call up information on opening hours and dates at any time
- And be reminded to take your medication
HOW TO INSTALL THE GESUND.DE APP
1. pick up your registration code at the practice:
Visit us at the practice and get your personal
2. download the gesund.de app:
3. register in the app:
Open the app and follow the instructions for registration.
4. connection to the practice via the gesund.de app:
Open the gesund.de app, tap the QR code symbol in the top right-hand corner and scan the QR code you received from us. Enter your details and tap on “Request now”.
After verification, the connection is usually activated within 24 hours. You will receive confirmation directly in the app.
5. set a family doctor or save as a favorite:
Open the gesund.de app and search for InnerMed. Tap on the profile and select “Set as family doctor” or the heart symbol to save the practice as a favorite. This way you can easily book appointments in the future.
Short distances: surgical practice, physiotherapy and pharmacy in the building
Close cooperation with trusted specialists is an integral part of our holistic medical care. We attach particular importance to saving you unnecessarily long journeys. We therefore work closely with the surgical practice Dr. Schmezer, the physiotherapy practice Hohmann and the Aesculap pharmacy. You will find all three of these directly on our premises.

App on prescription
Digital health applications (DiGAs), also known as “apps on prescription”, can help with the detection, monitoring and treatment of certain conditions . These are health apps that are prescribed by your GP depending on the diagnosis. The aim of DiGAs is to make everyday life easier for patients and help them manage their illness. The costs are covered by the health insurance companies.
Based on your diagnosis, we are happy to prescribe the app on prescription for the following conditions:
- Mental stress (e.g. depression and anxiety disorders)
- Stress and burnout
- Sleep disorders
- Migraine
- Chronic pain
- Osteoarthritis of the knee joint
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Severe overweight (obesity)
- Tinnitus
- Chronic bronchitis (COPD)
- Nicotine addiction
- Eating disorders
- Alcohol dependence
E-prescription
We are pleased to be able to offer you the issuing of an electronic prescription (e-prescription). To receive and redeem your prescription electronically, you need the gematik e-prescription app. You can easily download it free of charge from your app store. The e-prescription has many advantages: for example, you no longer need to worry about losing your prescription slip. All prescriptions are stored securely and reliably in the app. We can also send simple follow-up prescriptions directly to the app – saving you unnecessary trips to the practice.

Don’t have a smartphone? Of course, you can also get the prescription printed out as usual at our practice and take it with you.
Electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU)
Since January 1, 2023, sending a sick note to the health insurance fund has been mandatory, with a few exceptions. Employees only need to inform their employer of their absence due to illness. The employer can then retrieve the certificate electronically from the respective health insurance fund on the following day. Of course, you still have the option of receiving a paper printout of your certificate of incapacity for work.
